@zino18 this is what the plug looks like. And it's a BR8HS. Appears to me that there is a bit of rust in my fuel or something. Also just as a note my CHT runs 150-180* running. With a mild bump to around 200 if idling in traffic

Ignore me if zino chips in but that,s not a good plug color pop a new plug in do a run and look again, rust will block your carb, filter etc not color your plug.

Geoff I was thinking that red brown color isn't the best color. But with a quick Google search I found this which shows a plug that looks similar to mine and says it's ideal... At this point I hope so

A plug that you have been running for miles gives you a idea at best of general health. The red might be from the fuel additives.
I was taught to think like smores White like marshmallows or grey way to lean Graham cracker brown just about perfect Dark like chocolate the darker the closer to fouling .
I am running around 325-340 degrees cht when wide open couple miles 50 mph plus . Your temps are pretty good so I wouldn't change much and your speed is good .
You might be a notch rich to real close on the plug .
If you want to go further into dialing in the best jetting for performance and safety .
If you have a couple jet sizes bigger and smaller You could make some test runs starting from your biggest jet Run down the road wide open and note top speed and performance for each jet . 2 of them should be real close take the richer of the 2
Use the same process for the needle after the jet is right work you way down take the richest one that performs the best.

Thanks zino for the input. Ive got about 100 miles on this plug, on this setup. Was used briefly while using my ported cylinder with the craptastic china piston And rings. And as for the color, would the fact that I'm using red/purple color oil be the cause. As for the touch rich. That's very possible, as I've had to go to a leaner position on the needle to get usable wot(using needle only because i dont have and cant currently find anyone with the 80-98 jet set for CP/PWK; using cp21 with 38/100 jets) With that being said if I hold it wot it losses speed and rpm. Also with that being said I haven't tried going richer on the needle or main since I put it back together last week.

Zino brother your awesome, I didn't think about treatland, but then again I've been basically ordering all my parts from Scootertuning.ca so they have been my go to distributor

Yeah Treatland is not my go to but I needed reed valve sheets to make some custom reed valves . They not only had quality but multiple thicknesses in stock .
Its good to have multiple vendors I probably have paid for the owner of Scootertunings sports Car in his driveway with all the money I have mailed them . Parts for scooters and Scooter Swap Shop ,dynoscooter, scooterpartsco have all treated me well.

Got it back together again and let me say this, with 11.28:1 final she is a ripper. Did a couple 1/8 mile pulls and got 15.53@40 and 15.61@41 And that's with it being 55 and rainy/misty today. On a dry day I estimate mid to upper 14 sec 1/8s.

This is with the 11.28 final and running 38/102 jets in the CP. Gonna do some timed runs to double check but I think I got it figured (knock on wood;cause ive said this before) also gonna try a 105 main to see if it gets any better.

Best run out of 6 so far. Still on 102 main and middle needle. The sun came out so testing will continue

Went up to a 105 main here. Overall not much different from 102 but that is the fastest 0-40 I've ever done. And I've seen 53 as a top so far and that was at 9300rpm. And so far even with the drag racing and long wot runs temps are stay between 180 and 200. I am wondering if lighter rollers would help me get any more acceleration. Cause maybe I'm just expecting a lot from this but even with as quick as it gets going it does so with the front wheel firmly planted on the ground. Like I said maybe I'm just expecting a lot but little wheelies would make this experience a lot more enjoyable

As Long as you can still get full variator travel so you get your top speed . Go ahead get some 4 gram rollers and see if you like them . Or You can stagger 4/4.5/4/4.5/4/4.5
Your acceleration is pretty damn good as is just saying .

Well another issue has rose from it's hiding spot. On the left side of the drain plug is a hole that the prior owner "fixed" with an epoxy that has gotten soft. And well when I noticed the gear oil on my rear wheel, again, I got to feeling in that area and happened to touch it and got sprayed with hot gear oil😕😤😧.well I can say this much, it's not been dull since I've owned this scoot
