2008 Chinese gy6 150, was at idle warming up when I heard a pop and it died, tried to restart but no compression, remove valve cover to find no timing chain in sight !!! Any suggestions ??

To replace the chain you need to open the engine fully and remove the crank. Lots of labor, so while you're in there why not add some performance parts? Stroker crank here is half-off right now... don't forget a new gasket set as well. You could also get a new complete engine and save the old one for spare parts, lot of options at this point.
