So it appears that my timing chain is not broke and I was able to pull it out so it can be reinstalled on camshaft, when I took the tensioner out it was withdrawn so that no tension was being applied to chain, ordered new tensioner, any chance it will work ??

You pulled the chain out? Is it still on the cog of the crank? If the old tensioner was not working, and you ordered a new one.... let's hope that solves the issue.

Take a good look at the chain guides. They are wear items, but last a good long while. The tensioner pushes down on the upper guide in all I have seen. If the tensioner 'shoe' was not being applied to the back(upper) side of the upper guide, no tension would be keeping the timing chain on the sprockets, the chain could 'walk' some teeth, and in general, not good things could happen. Take a good look at the old tensioner. I think the shoe & rod will retract if you hold the ratchet bar, and will stay retracted. The ratchet will release when the tensioner is installed in the case, and the spring should push the shoe down onto the guide. If you did not find a spring, that's likely the cause of the loss of tension. The center bolt on the tensioner pushes on the spring, which in turn pushes on the shoe shaft when installed.
