So I am still healing from surgery on my wrist two weeks ago but right before I got injured on skateboard I had decided that my mhr 77 water cooled was in need of a rebuild wouldn’t even start. .... so right before I got hurt I had installed a nice 49 cc h20 bore on another rexy block so that I could still have a riding moped while I got the Malossi in order which I awesome just needs a gasket or a new ring. anyway hears a pic it’s got a phonger 100cc pipe looks stock and I was reading Brent’s Comparing it to other pipes and with his set up which Is similar to this one it was only beaten by the peace pipe which makes this by far my quietest bike ever🥳 never cared to be quiet but it will help in getting someone to race me now especially without the radiator on front. Lol. Only thins I m aware of being modded is the carb which is a 24 mm oko open no air filter not sure what intake or anything also he said it had a ceramic bore and full circle crank.. I’m still heal ing but now when I can ride ill have transportation again. And this is my third gift frommoped God’s I was able to get it with papers n keys from the original owner who occasionally worked with he guy who imported these out here so one owner great condition, I got something to look forward too for sure. Will give update onhowitrides when I ride it and then have a better idea of what I want to do to it ifnything. Any comments suggestions much appreciate

So I’ve been talking with my neighbor who happens to own a rexy 100 as well he called it a stroker but I always assume that the rexy 100s on Hawaii were identical to a jog 90 which were clearly made because they were in the owners manual along with specs for the 50 cc. But my neighbor insists that the rexy 100s on Oahu were all hand built by George from motorsource. Don’t know for sure which is true but thisbike camefrom motorsource baught itfrom a mechanic I seen working there. All I was told about this moped is that it has a ceramic bore I’m guessing a taida 54mm will let you now when I’m healed enough to check. I rode it one handed down my street and it pulls hard doesn’t seem like I will be doing to much modification to this jewel. Can’t wait to heal I promise some video.

SMC Rexy was 49cc
SMC Rex was 90cc
That bike might have the same Taida 54mm bore that i have. Bought the bore from George. Aluminum, nicasil inside, ceramic coated outside.
I believe it to be true that if it is a 100cc it was built by George.

Yah i’ve come to the conclusion that most certainly must have been built custom by George because not only does it say Rexie 50 that’s merely a sticker for the fact that it’s a 140qmb and registered as a 50 mL is more convincing to me for if it was a 90 mL originally the engine code would be different and I would think it would be almost impossible to have been registered as a 50 mL I’m still far from healing on my left hand but I would drive with one hand plenty of times anyways so I just been real careful starting the first few days just riding up and down my side street and today actually took it up and down the hill I am impressed but I still see areas where I can improve it such as the jetting seems to be really rich also the gas tank has rust on the inside I’m not sure if I should even running it with this tank But the gas doesn’t seem to get dirty from being inside of it I will eventually switch it out with One from my parts rexy that I have also I’ve been kind of curious as to any possible differences between the 28th PWK I have ran before that has the two vents on either side of the slide facing up and the 28 Okko with the one vent on the side and one at the bottom I think I might actually start a thread on that question I start to notice a difference I’m pretty sure it is a real Oko not the fake kind that uses the difference jets

I believe we are probably correct on the tiada 54 mm full circle crank imasuming is a rumia I think George said the stroke on his 100s were 45.6 approximately if I remember right

Okay so the plot thickens... I took a peek at the bore and it looks like fast iron although was told that it was not the one thing that I am pretty sure about is it’s not a taida it seems to be a Malossi for just like my parts rexy that has a mini stroker full circle crank as well as a Malossi bore that looks really similar to the one on this rexy ...... so now I’m confused because I am pretty sure that Malossi doesn’t make a 54mm bore but what size could they be I f they are in fact the same neither have spacers at the base so does Malossi make air cooled bores with a 50+Mm piston it seems like they have to have made one for a longer stroke anyone. ??🤷🏻♂️🤔

Cast iron is magnetic, aluminum is not,,Lots of 54's came from Taiwan, most were so-so but better than China stuff.54 bore/45 stroke builds dont need a cylinder base spacer if its a tall jug..If you still have the head off, measure the bore and stroke and take a few pics and post them here so one of us may be able to identify what you have..

thanks I only use this form on my iPad and it’s impossible to take a picture with one hand but what I can do is take my caliber and report the measurements which I will do right now 🛵🧲🔬📝💬

So I got a response from George that confirmed my theory . Unfortunately but still stoked on the moped the bore is just a standard stroke 70cc cast iron sport. However my other block that came with a mini stroke crank and Malossi bore is easily visible I’ve seen the crank through the intake and can see a noticeable one or two mm thick base gasket. So best I can hope for is to find some thick base gasket and a rumia crank &80cc not70cc which George said was possible. Kind o impressed with the thing fooled me for out of tune 100cc ... probably gunna change out the pg 100 pipe for higher rev technigas n if it is not mini stroke will take carb from 28 down to 23mm....

I’m story shortgasket at base was put up side down or something was blocking Boost port so that blue I took the cylinder cast-iron Malossi Sport bore and head fine. But it must have soft seized because the rings were stuck One broke is that he tried to free it so I I am using an Athena has only one exhaust thread so my question is should I get a Street race by stage6 Or just get a new piston and use the Malossi Sport. Well I am going to get before either of those is a new exhaust what would you guys recommend I’m stuck between a stage six pro replica a polini for race and a Yasuni r or c16.I’ll probably order one of these today so I hope I will get some feedback first this exhaust will eventually go onto my MHR 77

The pipe depends on what your intended goal is.
If you plan on using the pipe on the MHR 77, get a pipe that will hit the target power band of the MHR bore.
However, if you get a good racing pipe (which is later intended for the MHR) that pipe with the Sport bore might run like crap. The Sport bore's timings might end up too low for the racing pipe. The bore probably wont spin enough RPM to get the pipe to pressurize, thus making it impossible/difficult to get "on the pipe".
You could always just slap a YMS v8 on it in the meantime, especially if you're going the Sport bore route.
Do you still have the PG exhaust? If you want to sell it, let me know and give me a price. I'll buy it if you want to sell it.
