Do you have lighter sliders you might need to go as low as 5g to max out that pipe . That Next R and Qtre have similar power bands mid 8s to low 9's is where I set the weights to hit. With 5 grams I am just over 9k rpms and at 5.5 grams I am around 8700-8800 rpms with my set up . I prefer to set them as low as possible for weight that still gives me the highest top speed that is the way I am on the upper end for acceleration . At 6g it ran around 7500 rpms. Just put the 5g sliders on and going on another run. 👍

With 5g sliders it was around 7900rpms during the main acceleration. Went up to 8500 rpm top.
My average speed went up, so faster overall but top speed was 42. 6gs went to 45.
I dont have any weights lighter than 5g. Maybe I should try and get some to test further?
This is a good spot to leave it for now.

Run half 6 and half 5 Like this 6/5/6/5/6/5 On The next Snow free day . See if you like that better than the all sixes or all fives . You might not need to go lighter than 5 grams .
Here is Why From your notes . 5 grams better acceleration top end peaked at 42 . 6 grams top end peaked at 45 but acceleration is less than the 5's . So it sounds like you found the bottom end of the weights .

Changed it to every other, so 5.5g equivalent sliders. Finally took it to work two days this week. I realized afterwards that the exhaust was rattling against the rear wheel axle bolt. I added an additional washer where it's mounted and that should work out ok. Picture is before i added a washer. Also, there's already oil/fuel mix (or whatever this is) coming out the exhaust. I think i've driven 30 miles total on it so far. Is this typical or is it a sign of some maintenance issue? I would guess that it has the original piston/rings on it and should change that or upgrade since it's at over 11k km. Once I start selling off my scoots I may be able to upgrade the two kymcos that I'm keeping. (side note - all 4 kymcos i have use the same belt size and had the same stock variator) Also, the air screw is only 1/4 turn out. If I increase it it chokes out. I haven't increased jet size so am guessing I have room to do that with the stock airbox as is.

If you have been doing a ton of idling and then shutting your scoot down you can build up some extra spooge even when you have it in good tune .

went on a 16 mile ride for fun with 5.5g slider equivalent. I used the track-addict app for tracking speed. I think it gets around 0-35m in 14 seconds and has a consistent top speed on level around 39mph. Maxed with a slope at 45.7mph.
It generally operates 7500-7800 rpms and does feel like it would have more power if it were higher.
I am wondering if a new clutch would help out a bit. Scoot is at 11700 km and i'm pretty sure it's original other than some clutch spring additions, though i'm not totally sure.
I haven't messed with jetting so will look into that.
