Great to see you getting there Geoff And if it helps I think that's a short case clone so ordering parts might need some thought. yep i put the old junk belt and went for a ride tonight and was a lot better and got to see 41mph tho im going to need a new clutch very soon as got a lovely clutch slipping smell coming from it and i worked out why my fueling seems to be off so much had a reed not sitting right in the reed block so sorted that and ended up having to drop right down to a 72 main jet and seems to be hitting 7600 rpm so thats 2 things sorted today and one more on the to do list my friend got back to me he dont have my hebo exhaust anymore so going to wait to the end of the month then i will have a budget of £240 for a exhaust and clutch , clutch springs so thinking of going for a yasuni z or one more hebo performer as i used the hebo on a stock herchee fun that has a 1e40QMB got to 49mph with out changing the rollers and a 70cc aerox worked so the hebo is a great budget exhaust for low and mid tune and is only £90

i have been getting sick to death the last 2 weeks as sometimes my jetting seems great and other times it seemed well off and not building rpm up passed 7k so made a pressure test kit and what do you know one crankshaft seal had gone and when i was stripping it down to find a stater plate bolt had broken off to and flywheel had been rubbing on the stater coils so going down today to pickup a set of stage 6 bearings and seals then just got to work out how to get that broken bolt out

after building the engine up late last night went to try starting it this morning and something is well off as idle is all over the place sometimes going upto 4k rpm and then 3sec's later dieing and getting very hot im using a 12mm carb and 85 jet at sea level , checked the plug and its white as in very lean
i did see the reedblock had a bad finish like it had been sanded by hand with some deep lines that i can feel with my hand but i put a bit of high temp rtv on there and wished for the best so just hope if i change the change over today to better one if its just that but seems like im looking for a air leak thats leaning it out so much
can this bike just give me a brake for a change

The Naraku kits are starting to show up in more builds . Others have really commented on its Low Down Torque . Just havent had anybody get a tach on it or do a port map . So I am going to keep watching you put this together to see how that kit pairs with your exhaust.
Air leak demons suck I just tracked one down as I was swapping on a kit this weekend my crank seal was shot .

I went to studs after the second time I broke a exhaust bolt off .
I had to use a extractor to get a frozen bolt off when I was changing out a seal behind the stator . The first time I sheared a bolt I showed my wife and said I will have to order a new 70cc cylinder instead of extracting it . Its kinda a long the same line of why she has so many shoes and still buys more .

was going out for a ride tonight and as soon as i left something was not feeling right as down on all power and a lot more smoke then i was getting today + i had down jetted more to a 78 main jet over the 82
with in 2mins of riding i turned around to come home to find i had blown the spark plug thread out and was just pushing all the air out of there
lucky i have a spare 50cc head so fitting that in the morning but not the best week for the bike at all
