Is the air filter clean?? Sounds like it could be slightly restricted causing it to run rich when cold... heats up and it can atomize the fuel a little better and run a lil smoother. Just an idea...

Yes, it is clean. I bought a new sponge for air filter when I cleaned up the carb.

Today the weather was a bit warmer and I noticed that the scooter worked perfect while it was warm outside.

As stated....ensure your ignition timing is perfect....then test. If you have the same problem after? Get rid of your pump setup. Pre-mix, baby!

I just removed the carb to clean it up and I discovered that the gasoline is flowing continuously even though I have a vacuum fuel pump. Can it be the cause of the problem?

Could be the float needle is sticking and overflowing the carb. I've dealt with a couple scoots that did that. The float went too high, overflowed just a little bit so once the engine got to a certain rpm it was drinking fast enough to not overflow the carb. Every time the scoot fired up it would DUMP smoke for a few minutes. Idle for a bit, then it would get really choppy and sputter off the line. Since you just cleaned the carb, you could have went opposite and actually gotten something in there. I use a cotton swab dipped in gasoline and clean out the seat when I clean mine. Yes related to Dexes issue If the fuel flows without the vacuum needed your petcock is shot . Your carb float should still shut off the flow of fuel .

So the problem can be the vacuum fuel valve or the float needle. I suppose that I have this problem because of the vacuum valve cause I changed the valve at the same time with carb's cleaning and then the scooter ran without problems for some days. I think that now it's vacuum system blocked and it's always open. What do you think?

You have 2 ways to stop fuel from over flowing your carb The vacuum opens the petcock and lets fuel flow Not all carbs have a vaccum you use a manual fuel shut off for these. The more important one that has to work is the float needle because you need to open and close as it should or you will go from being over loaded with fuel or starved with fuel .

Ok. I will change the float needle and the vacuum fuel valve and I hope the problem will disappear. Thank you so much.
