Today another damn funeral, hopefully thats the last had enough this last month and Tommy Scrap's the last one. Good job was dry for scooter today as well.

Sorry for your loss Milly. Some of us are at the age where our friends and family begin to disappear as fast as our toilet paper. I am planning a Stateside visit in September for a 45 year High School reunion. The "In Memorium" tributes have almost as many passed on as there are attending.  I am going because of history...family history. It shows that I might not make the 50th... Keep the rubber side down and your head in the clouds! Your suit is quite nice! I do not own one. Nor a tie. Nor a Vespaaaaahhhh. Zing, zing, zing. |

I know how you feel Milly,just turned 60 myself and the NHS are asking me in to prod and poke around,hardly ever used them till now but the missus says I got to attend so next up is shi** in a box and mailing it to them,poor postman.the suit thing reminded me that a Liverpudlian in a whistle and flute is always called the accused.I think that may be racist but it,s still funny.

Geoff Hi Geoff, funny that I remember my 60th birthday I got the same present from the NHS  I remember that joke about a scouser in a suit is called the accused, mind you with the pc bridgade anything can be turned into racism, sexism etc but I wont go down that route on here. Even my sons and daughters have thought a lot of it was daft even from their mid 20's and they only early 30's now.

It's sad, isn't it?
I'm about to turn 60 and my oldest friends are now dead and gone. Family has dwindled pretty badly, too.
There's only one point, actually, in my even mentioning those things. You're not alone, if that's any help.
