Chinarelli parts are easier to find. This should be that 44mm stroker crank (+2mm). I think my main problem is in stator side and pipe measurements. Ahh, now i see what you're going for with that crank. Just so you know, here on Oahu you can get 43mm and 44mm Taiwanese ministroker cranks with bearings and seals for like $100-120, for DIO type engines. These are ministroker cranks that dont require case cutting. Very interesting build so far!

I've seen several Mina 52&54mm bores for the 90's recently under 100. It looks like there are more hitting market now than last time I looked. Autotech355 has several kits for em, and lots of Honda stuff too. Other than there, we seem to be SOL for good Honda go fast parts at decent $$. Glad I'm a Yamaha guy, I do good to afford that, my wallet and wife would team up and kill Meniffee I ever got a Honda 2t....

Other than there, we seem to be SOL for good Honda go fast parts at decent $$. There is a big market for Honda stuff here. All the COOL people ride modified Hondas, SYM dd50's, or Daelim Cordi's. They all go on an around-the-island cruise on 3-day weekends, usually looks like a 100+ riders. If you watch some of the Oahu moped cruise vids on YouTube, you can see the guys from Jog Union (a local group of minarelli riders) passing a lot of the Hondas. Most shops here cater to Hondas and 4 strokes. Probably only about 5% of moped riders/tuners run minarelli/piagio bikes. Hard to find minarelli items at shops now days. Scooter Alley, the importers of Scorpion and Sparrow pipes, is on Oahu. We also have/had VTcycles (noted on hondaspree forum as source for Honda parts). The guy from Phongeer comes to Oahu too, so that's why we always have PG exhausts here. I can see what you mean by we get all the good sh!t in Hawaii...for Hondas but nothing for Minarellis.

Trying to figure out how much modification I have to do to stator side. Between bearing surface and where magneto sits there's about 6,7mm difference. Mina longer. Just eyeballing. Mina stator connection difference is -3,7mm. Mina has 5mm compared to af49 6mm stud width. So what I'm hoping for is that I can make a plate to fit mina stator.

Yeah,I'd fab a 1/4" thick aluminum adapter plate to attach to the Honda case and have the plate drilled/tapped to fit the Mina stator..A possible issue is the pulse coil location as the Mina has it even with the cylinder centerline and Honda offsets it toward the bottom..

Got the crank installed. My very scientific way to fit the stroker wasn't the right way. So some grinding and more heat cycles and finally success . Used ABRO 999 grey gasket maker, but I don't think it wants to cure. Will see. Piston is couple millimeters too low at TDC and won't do 360°. Cylinder stud holes have to be slightly honed for easy fit. I'm beginning to see why plug and play is good

The piston skirt is hitting the case, pretty common on overbore builds..You'll need to cut the cylinder base on a lathe or mill to lower it to desired level..How you plan on starting it?I was gonna use a pull start on the YZ125 splice I did,but ended up using a big cordless drill instead..

Shortened just under 4mm from piston skirt. No more hitting the case. I could cut/lower the cylinder 3.5mm (3mm would be the safe bet). Cylinder studs at the moments are 109mm(M6). Too short so have to order longer 120mm(M6). I think I'll let this project sit a while (or not ). Want to finish other fun projects I have.

Some progress. Lowered cylinder 3,5mm (could have taken 4mm). Piston sits without gasket about 0,5mm below ports and cylinder deck. Haven't checked the port durations yet. Also fitted AC stator upside down with 7,5mm thick aluminium plate. Pipe is a crossover of Turbokit and Honda. It's quite short and narrow. For testing purposes.

Back on it at last. Looks good what you've done.

Hondarelli has a kickstart. Welded those two pieces together in the picture. Don't know if it's sturdy enough for the compression this thing has, but it have to do for the moment.
