Hello. So here is my problem, I got a triple tree which is made for 33mm fork legs, but I got a pair of 31mm fork legs that fits my new brake caliper.
Will it be possible to shim it down from 33mm to 31mm, or will this be unsafe?
If so, I need a 1mm round shim. A soda can is 0.25mm thick, so I will need 4 strips to make it work. Probably not the best way to go about it... Any good ideas what els I can use to make set of shims?

Find a machine shop with scraps of tubing, or flat stock with the right thickness....

If you want to try it,I'd get a piece of 20 gauge mild steel(.036"),cut and roll it to size..That should work..
