As part of the deal for the new scooter my mate is having my cactus. Wife is very happy as she hates the spikey thing,that is till she finds out I got another scooter.

No its you lot that cause the problem with the wheel on the wrong side. Deffinately no sharp manourvers whilst that was on board. I think they call them cow's lick tongue on your side the pond as they look like they grow like weeds out there. I remember watching a video of a youth in shorts and a t shirt trying to jump a big patch on a skate board somewhere in the State. He did not make it fell face first straight in the middle of the patch, must have been damn painful.

There was a girl mountain biking through the desert on the TBD channel the other day. She wiped out and fell right in the middle of a cactus patch. It was awful, her [assumingly] boyfriend was flipping them off with a stick. They were all over her. Ah, here it is...

Yeah I saw your cactus perched on the passenger floor and was like, man, that could turn a minor accident into something awfully painful. I assume she (he?) has a new home now.

Around my home town we had prickly pear cactus that did grow like weeds. Keeping your bike tires up was a chore. We had a small woody Cocklebur also that made walking barefoot in the grass a no no as well as being hell on bike and lawn tractor tires. Latex paint was often used as a material to slow down leaks.
