well I am out of commission for a while. lean just a little bit for to lift the garbage can lid off the garbage can to take the garbage out but before even getting to the lid I heard a pop and felt a pop and my spine I seen a flash of light I fell to my knees then I felt to my side then I felt to my back. it was very difficult trying to get up I couldn't get in any position that was comfortable. I guess I got three bulging discs.
I need my back.

Yuk, sorry to hear. How are you correcting it? I've been doing chiro for a couple years now, it helps a lot - was getting chronic back pain.

Not good at all.
I put my back out a month ago. Could not bend over for a week. Just feeling better now.

sorry to hear about your back. this is what I got for mine. I saw this vid and a week later I had this in my hands . then I searched for an adapter etc. . this thing kicks ass. I paid 85 for my worx and 12 for an adapter and took it to a welding shop and had the adapter welded to a 1/4" hex driver. my problem is I don't have anybody to use it on me. sucks . here's a bunch of more recent vids. looks like the price of the worx saw has gone down $15 . this guys adapter looks better than mine . mine is longer . his, you don't need the hex drive , looks like .it goes right into the ball . I had to buy my ball separate. then I had to glue it again . I got about $140. in the whole thing. It has been a very difficult week, especially being out of pain meds, received a pain relievert shot in the buttocks "felt like something bit me Lol" and some scripts. It's bs cuz when this happened, i went straight to ER, they took caT scans and I have 3 bulging discs they gave me a shot and scripts and released me, I had to army pull myself into the SUV in pain I never felt before, such bad pain U can barely breath and def cannot cus the f word cuz it be more painful, tried making an appointment with my doc "2 weeks out for an appointment" changed doctors, week out when this happened, got urgent care set me up today for few days till doc appt. This is not normal back problem, I hunch over to walk with knees kinda bent out front. Uhwell. Rather have two broke legs. |

It's such a bummer. I feel your pain. I was lucky enough to be given a back which actually doesn't trouble me all that often. But when it does......oooo...it hurts.
About 30 years ago now I had one episode while getting ready for work. I had a morning routine when just about to go out the door. I'd have my daughter........about a year or so old at that time.........lying by the foot of the bed. All dressed up and ready to go. With my car keys in my left hand I'd bend down and pick her up lying in my arms and we'd walk out the door and load up.
This time as I bent over to pick her up a pain that I'd never known before or since wrenched me very, very badly. It was so bad that I fell face forward right over my daughter. I did manage to catch myself with my elbows so that I didn't crush her. I don't recall her being bothered by this at all.
I do remember that I was not able to move at all without terrible pain. And the words that were going through my mind were, "Whatever you do.....don't lose the car keys!!!" Silly. I could have dropped those. They'd have been right in the middle of the bed. Easy enough to find.
I don't know what purpose this story has. But maybe it's worth a small laugh. I hope laughing doesn't hurt.
