So here's a new "challenge" a local rider thought up:
Put your phone/camera up somewhere along your path then do a drive by.
Simple, fun, and we get to see/hear you instead of wondering who this guy or gal is.
Here's Scootie's attempt:
Do your thang and post below!
I simply take a video then upload to YouTube then it allows you to cut it down, or trim it, to what you'd like. Then once it uploads simply use the "insert video" button on this forum (not Tapatalk) and copy/paste the video URL in. Done!
I'm just goofing off but the idea is just a simple drive by...

Already know the spot but will have to wait until the precipitation persists as liquid long enough to wash the salt off the roads. This will be fun, thanks dex!

Mine has been in pieces for way too long I guess this is my motivation to get her back together for some glamour.

It was cold out, the flakes were flying, the roads were wet, rubber was cold, windy, engine not at tip-top, but dammit I entertained. Got to about 64 or 65 mph. Fastest ever clocked at this spot was 68 on GPS.

Here is one from 7 years ago. Stage6 streetrace cylinder, Next R pipe. I think it would only do about 72 ft/s, those were the days!

Did I kill this thread by using my drone? The day before I saw this thread I was out playing with DJI drone and trying to see what it would look like to get some footage of my scooter/moped. I discovered it is next to impossible to control both at the same time. So I setup the drone at different heights at set it to record. I then had to lay the controller in the grass and jump on bike and take off hoping no one would stop by a see the controller just laying there and pick it up. I really wasn't happy with the footage I did get and was going to delete it. Then I saw this thread and thought maybe I can use it for this. So I stitched a few scenes together and, well you see what I ended up with. I am new to this forum and thought I was limited to 640 by 480. So I didn't upload it to YouTube in 1080p. (Wish I did) anyway as I said I am new to this forum and I wanted to be involved. I don't have the mechanical experience that most of you guys seem to have. For one this is my first scooter. But that's part of what brought me here. So I could learn. And ask for help when $#!+ Happens. And knowing my luck it'll be sooner than later. Anyway, I love checking in every day to see what everyone is doing. I am really enjoying the different personalities that are here. I'm normally the type to rarely post anything, but I wanted to get involved. Hopefully make some new friends.

I have a few fpv drones and I was thinking of using one of them then I quickly figured out that I can't ride and fly at the same time.

It does, and I used it. It lost site of me after about 100 yards. I had to drive back to the control to regain control.

Your footage didn't do anything negative to the thread. It wasn't really active anyway. Probably the most negative thing that it did for me was inspire me to look at follow me drones. Then I saw their price tags and ran away crying. Not quite that bad, but I had some delusion that tech was evolving and becoming cheap.

Even if you get a good price on a camera drone, you then need to get the "fly more" package to get remote and extra batteries. Then you need to get a tablet to view it on as you find your phone sucks to try and see with. I have the DJI spark, which is 1080p. I got the crystalsky monitor which is also made by DJI. I got it because it is bright enough to see in bright sunlight. This set up is perfect for me as my computer cant process anything higher than 1080p. And I don't have a 4k tv to view on anyway. So I am not looking to upgrade to the newer models. Plus I now have a scooter to take any extra $$ I might have.
