Does sound like a regulator problem. Did you check what voltage your putting out?

No I haven't yet. With ignition on I have 12v coming up to the indicator switch. Not checked the regulator end to see if it pulses as should or ignition switch itself yet. I do have a spare flasher relay so may plug that into a live feed and test it that way as well so if regulator side on that part is duff I can then wire that in properly.

Installed a indicator relay bypassing the one in the regulator today starting to come together at last. Nice out in the sun to. I took note of others comments and got myself a fold up chair to sit on

Scooter passed mot today, bit slow and hesitant on acceration but get there. May get a new Keihin repair kit for carb. Damn indicators packed up when got home but that aint no problem fix another day. Bypassed the regulator in the end aeroxbud so I have indicators or rather did. I did use those scotch blocks which sometimes dont make good connections.

Excellent news. Lot of bike shops are closed here. That's you're problem right there "scotch blocks."

Well scooter all fixed up and running. It feels quite slow indicators now work but erratically. The flat battery could have been where I left indicator's on as they were separate to the ignition switch. I had mechanic check charging and whether it was draining. Give it a couple of days standing then move it on I think once found my spare flasher unit.
