Try going places you normally wouldn't go, bed bath and beyond had a shelf of hand sanitizer while the big box stores were sold out. Dollar General had a 12 pack of toilet paper, soap Lysol etc. They even have hamburger all though it was more expensive. Dollar tree sells hand sanitizer and toilet paper also. Buy an industrial hand sanitizer that's mounts on the wall at home and buy it in quart bags. Sometimes you just have to think outside the big box stores.

If your in search of your own hoard of paper products so the next person has nothing because you took it all check the home stores, Homedepot, Lowe’s , etc. I was at a Lowe’s the same day after the grocery store and saw their stock was virtually untouched. Just leave some for the next guy.

Well, I just used what I thought was a wet wipe and it turned out to be a Clorox bleach wipe.
Note to all, don't use a Clorox bleach wipe. In fact bleach has no business being around your bottom at all.

I usually go with a water/vinegar mix when I want that streak free shine. Bleach is just going too far man.

Went grocery shopping again and everything seemed to be business as usual. Didn't notice any items low on stock.

I have thousands of books, I guess I should get busy and drill holes in the corners. I should warn you that newspaper etc will clog toilets and sewers. It will only work in outdoor facilities... -Best get digging too.

I found toilet paper and a fish ,bacon, ribs lots of full shelves at my store .
The Grocery stores are no longer open 24 hours
12 hours so they can clean and restock .
That works for me as long as they have stuff .

Toilet paper,dried food self isolation I can live with that but here in the UK our government has closed all the pubs bars etc for the foreseeable,there will be a rush for tinned beers etc,time to dig out grandads still I think.it just annoys me to see that the"preppers" were right.

I spoke too soon I road past the grocery store today .
It looks like a black friday parking lot ,The store shelves have emptied out .
People are back on too hoarding .

I got a bidet, dont knock it till you try it! Here in Thailand, no TP hoarding, but supply chain issues with some imported foods. Two answers for ass cleaning. (OK, there's a third) Some use TP, but I am guessing about 15% of the overall population. Most use a sprayer that is next to the toilet. Doesn't take much water. Clean poo-shoot. (Your sphincter will be tight!) Near every petrol station and surely every home has a "down there" sprayer. This works for both minor contaminants and for Kling-on's. The other thing I learned from my grandmother, many years ago...was conservation. Use only one TP section. Poke your index finger through the center and clean your tushy with that finger. When done, only one finger to clean...knuckles all protected. (pictures withheld to protect the offenders) |
