I want to know what people think are the best hoses and clamps in proper size for the Tao Tao ATM-50-A1 and obviously other scooters that use the same engine. I have left my scooter outside for nearly a few years including in the Winter and rain; and the biggest concerns are likely the quality of hoses, hose clamps, kickstand springs, front turn signal housing screws, exhaust, and cheap paint clear coat. Then I needed to clean the carb do to white crystal buildup and likely other buildup. It is generally very reliable, but I am very concerned the factory hoses and hose clamps are NOT good enough for long term multi-year outdoor use.
Additionally, any know how on finding front turn signal exterior housing screws would be useful (they rust a lot).

The OEM hose clamps are the best you can get. Save them, I have never found any of the replacements sold all over to have any 'spring'. Otherwise get miniature screw clamps from Ideal available at most auto parts stores. The hose can be found at auto parts stores and should be resistant to Ethanol. The white crud is from salt corrosion, WASH your scoot. Remove it with small Stainless Steel brushes. Take the screws out and replace them with similar size Stainless Steel screws from the hardware store.
