Hello I was wondering what everyone’s best performing filter is.. I currently have a thicker looking black layered filter.. and was wondering if a uni sponge filter or a screened stack velocity filter is more to your liking? Any good experiences?.. thanks

Hello joelandrew Welcome to the Forum If you would like future help, advice include the year make and model of your scooter and all if any modifications you have made so far so we may better assist you sir.You can help us better understand you by doing so. Hope to see you more around the Forum. Stock air box is always your best, safest bet they can easily be modified and provide more consistency in reliability. When you start going with these so called performance pod filters you create a much more atmospheric sensitive engine response. My best advice to you my friend is stick with the stock air box. If you do decide to go ahead and use a pod style filter you may greatly consider up jetting the carburetor.Performing a plug chop when all is said and done will help you determine where you stand lean, rich wise .Good luck to you my friend and i hope to see more of you around the Forum.
Everybody is a genius but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.
