I got the J&J vaccine today! I went to pick up some prescriptions from Sam's club and saw they were now offering the vaccine. I asked to be put on the list. The tech said we just had a cancellation would you like to do it now, or sometime Saturday? I told her lets get it done now. I filled out the 4 papers, waited 5 mins for the shot, then 15 minuets of observation and I was out. No issues for me so far, I worked a couple hours afterward and feel fine.I hope this helps protect me from the influx of tourists around here that seem to feel they do not need to wear a mask in public places. I do HVAC service work and end up around quite a few different people on a daily basis. I feel pretty lucky that I stayed healthy through last year, glad to have the vaccination for this time around. Still going to wear a mask most of the time when near others.

Sweet, congrats! Just curios...which version of vaccine did you receive? Moderna. Only side effect I've noticed so far is a sore shoulder. Quite a bit more sore than I expected based on past flu shots, but still not a big deal. |

Quite a bit more sore than I expected based on past flu shots, but still not a big deal. That’s the worst side effect I’ve heard from people. Aside from the fact that you now have Lizard DNA. NBD... I have Pfizer. We should do test runs and compare. |

I’ve heard Moderna is just a cloned Pfizer vaccine. With a quality carb and some elbow grease, maybe you’ll get good performance. Good luck though haha.
I’m pretty sure there’s a direct correlation between power wheelies and red blood cell count. I thought you understood two strokes...

Just found out that my cousin and his wife have COVID. This is a pretty weird case IMO. So, my cousin does trailer sales and repairs for tractor-trailers. Early in the pandemic when NY was having a huge surge, he rented some refrigerated trailers to whatever NY hospital or authority and they were going to use them for bodies and disinfect them before returning them. Fast forward a year and he's got COVID, because he thought it was all a hoax and didn't wear a mask or take precautions. I guess he figured they rented trailers and paid high fees because of the intended use, all the way from a company in MD, just so they could keep the COVID "story" going?  On a brighter note, I got emails from the local health department that we are in phase 3 and everyone 16+ can get a vaccine. Plus with coordination with the federal govt, there are lots of vaccines and appointments available. |

Got my 2nd Pfizer shot yesterday. Still about as dramatic as getting a flu shot.

No side effects and I haven't had trouble with worms or long relationships since. 😉🤣🤣 I've seen a range of reactions from family and friends that got other versions. Really interesting to see the different reactions folks are having. My mom got Moderna. No side effects. J&J I've seen three different responses. My boss was totally fine, my brother and his girlfriend had flu-like symptoms for half a day or so. My boss's boss was really agitated for a couple days after. Said he couldn't sleep and was pissed off a lot. Strange stuff, man. But I would rather go through any of those than what I've seen from folks that got nasty versions of that bug. |

I helped a friend move a 1.2L generator Sunday, and his wife came out to talk. She had her 2nd dose last week. I forget the day cause I was trying to pay attention to where he needed wires ran too, but Friday she was out of work with a 102 fever and a lot of aches. Said she felt fine by Sunday though and it sucked but it was worth it in her opinion. No idea which vac she got.

I am so glad i live in Darwin Northern Territory Australia we have had no lock downs or any community spread of the Covid virus , none of this social distance stuff or having to wear face masks its just been business as usual for us Aussies in the Northern Territory of Australia...

Got round 2 of Pfizer yesterday and it has whooped my butt. Started with chills around 2am. No fever, but head and body ache with some joint pain in the knees, wrists and elbows. Feel like somebody wore my ass out with a radiator hose.
Gotten better throughout the day. It'll be gone after a big-ass cheeseburger and a good night's sleep.
