How much do you guys think this front shock CAN be lowered, by cutting the spring or adding a spacer or maybe both? I really dont wanna slide them further up the triple tree.

It has plenty of travel around 200mm. The thing I dont wanna get into, is cutting the chrome tube and re-threading it, other than that I'm game for anything. How much is possible without cutting down the chrome tube, do you think?

200mm. Solid ride. Apparently you're looking to limit the extension of the tubes. That is accomplished on the inner damper rod. Inside the axle hole there should be an allen screw that anchors the damping rod. A powered impact wrench is the only way I've found to spin it out. It might help to clamp the axle end in a vise and have a helper push on the shiney tube while you apply the powered wrench. It's not that the bolt needs a lot of force, it just needs a fast spin so that unthreading takes advantage of the inertia of the damping rod. Oh yeah, you should have drained the oil first. From there, end and side view pics are needed for further advice and destruction.
