Any idea where I could get a carburetor for my razz? I looked on Amazon, but all the carbs there look like on my dad's Yamaha QT50, which looks similar to the carburetor on the sh50, but not the same. Would a carburetor like this one a.co/d/boEX3YE fit (without modification)? And if no, where can I find one that would fit? Thanks for helping, Nathaniel

I've been looking all over the internet, and the carburetors that I can find that would work are all stupid expensive (haven't been able to find one under $220). I'm thinking I'll have to rebuild the carb I've got. What parts will I need and where can I get them?

Have you got this to start yet, carbs don't "wear out" there are only a few moving parts post a few pictures of your carb.

No, I have not gotten it to start... it must be clogged up somewhere. do you want pics of the inside, outside, or both? Here's some pictures of the outside, if that helps any: these pictures were taken after I cleaned the carb

I did disassemble the carburetor and soak it in a bit of xylol. after that, I scrubbed off buildup with a toothbrush, and sprayed carb cleaner into areas that I couldn't get at. There was a lot of gunk in it, because the liquid (now xylol mixed with carb cleaner) was yellow! (It was clear before)

It looks like a "normal" dellorto style carb would replace that should be $30 ish, that's a vertical style engine, they can collect debris and old petrol in the bottom of the crankcase that needs clearing out using flexy pipe to widdle in there and syphon it out check its clear, clean the carb passages with electrical wire, keep at it.

The dellorto PHBN looks almost identical... It might just work. Just wondering, is there a mikuni equivalent?

Nat,don't,t bite off more than you need, buy a cheap knock off carb,a different style of carb will just compound your problems. I still think the carb you have is the carb you need. Geoff

I ended up buying a dellorto ripoff. It works decently well. The moped goes about 25, so it probably needs some tuning still, but I will do that in the spring when I can ride it without freezing my butt off. (I live in MN so it's already around 40-50 degrees, which feels pretty darn cold at 25 mph)

I will post some pics of the razz when I get the chance. I used a freightliner mudflap to strengthen the step, because it was cracked. Altogether I think it looks pretty cool.
