[My one inch drive socket set in imperial and metric I donated to the garage set is getting damn heavy for me to lug around.]
my lord man . too heavy ? I guess so . 1" drive set . heh heh . you been busy Milly , in the past .
as for me , I guess like Dad , like son. he had a set of craftsman sockets and wrenches that I grew up with , so after I got the scooter I got another minimal set of craftsman metric and standard sockets and supplemented that with some old cheap set of open and box end wrenches . since then I've bought a variety of stuff some HF , some Northern Tools some Amacreep ' don't have any air tools ; at this point don't really have a need for them

Yes I have certainly slimmed down on tools jloi I also think socket set maybe three quarters not an inch. Got me thinking now will measure when over there tomorrow 🙂 Treated myself to a 3/8" drive cordless impact wrench for variator clutch rear wheel and flywheel nuts was not that pricey either with two batteries £39 I think a German make will have check that out as well tomorrow. I think best little spanner I have and always used on Chinese scooters or modern Vespa is a BMW spanner they use to supply in the cars tool kit its a really handy 10 and 8 mil open ended and a Jawa/cz cranked 12/13 mil ring spanner from when I had one in the 1980's. Edit a little bit out on my pricing must be the time of evening 01.00 ish, was £143

I used Gedore, Facom and Beta a lot. I like them all the same. Nothing stands out in particular. Some brands have the ratched direction buttons in a weird place. You end up flipping it over while using it which can be annoying.
When I used to work in this bike shop working on old harley's and indiands (pre 70's) and later in a car repair shop they had the Snap-On stuff. Really didn't like their ratchets (which I used a lot) since they're chromed and become too slippery with greasy hands. The rest of the snap on stuff just feel the same as all the other top tier EU tools.
I also use the super cheap stuff we can buy at this chain of budget shops across EU (Action). Those work fine too. I am not too picky with tools as long as they don't suddenly break or cause rounded nuts and bolts.
