On a gy6 engine is anyone running a Koso high volume oil pump?
They are physically thicker/deeper (3mm) than stock. The chain guide cover hits the end of the oil pump shaft. Do you run the high volume pump without the guide? Also I world assume that the chain is also misaligned because of the increased depth?
What are your experiences with this product?

I have one on a 172cc. The slight misalignment seems to be no problem. it's only a few MM. I doubt my 172cc even needs one. If you bored and stroked it then yes. A 190-232.

I run a Koso +33% volume oil pump in my 232 gy6 and have had no issues in the approximate 3000 km on the motor.
I only use the high flow pumps if I'm running an oil cooler, if you don't have an oil cooler you don't need one.
