Looks like the difference is just the case length. The buddy takes a 10" wheel and the roughhouse takes a 12". There's a lot of good info here. We should be compiling it somewhere.

I ordered up some parts from NCY, only quality of life stuff really. I ordered up a NCY kicker because I hate the original one. Here it is. I also ordered up an NCY quick-throw throttle. The first one I ordered is a dirt-bike style with a PWK cable. I shaved down the carb end of the cable to work with the OKO style cables aftermarket carbs use. Unfortunately the cable output contacts the brake master cylinder so I cant use it. If anybody wants a cheap aftermarket quick-throttle ive got one for ya I ordered up the other style of quick throttle with the smaller case so it wouldnt contact the master cylinder. This is the old one this is the one that will fit. I also had to order a longer OKO style cable to work with the new Delloto PHGB and the new throttle. Ill post up some images when they are installed. I also found a great replacement for the stock tail light and turn signals which are terribly ugly. A Ducati Monster integrated tail light is an exact replacement for the Genuine Rooughhouse tail light but is smoke black and has amber turn signals within the light. I ordered one up from Ebay for $25, ill report back on how it looks on the bike. Lastly I need to figure out how to hide all the wires on the bars of the scooter. Right now it looks like a total rats nest and really ruins the look. Any ideas on what I should do?

Got some odds and ends tied up this afternoon. I made a bracket for my TrailTech TTO Tempmeter that mounts into a previous rear view mirror bolt hole. I also mounted up the NCY throttle and kicklever. Both seem quite nice, I am excited to use them. I am planning to repaint or re-coat the side cover for the CVT. Theres a local powdercoating place who could blast it and paint it a nice flat black or gunmetal grey.

I got the new integrated LED tail light in today. It didnt take long to install onto the scooter. Unsurprisingly the Ebay unit did not come with a wiring diagram so that made things a little harder. I put up a short YouTube video about it and included some instructions in the description. I found a great wiring diagram (in color!) somewhere online and cant remember where I found it. Ill attach it here so anybody following along also has access to it. It was a great help.

This may be a silly question for yall, but I installed the Corsa this afternoon and I can't wrap my head around those two brass nipples on the head. What are they for? What do they do?

Some Carbs have a water loop for lack of better terminology. Maybe that's what they are for.

Yes, it's indeed for the carb heating function. Just loop it, just like on he carb itself. Unless you live in a cold climate.

I finished up the motor build last night. I am hoping to get a pressure tester on there and make sure there are no leaks. In a few days I should be firing it up for the first time.

I did a cold start on the scooter today. Sounds great and starts first kick no problem. Im not happy with the exhaust braket though. I am hoping to have one laser cut from a CAD design for a perfect fit.

An update: I took the scooter out for its first ride today after a few decent heat cycles. Everything was mounted temporarily and just for a few fun rides. The Roughhouse actually scared me with how fast it was. One blip of the throttle and I accidentally power wheelied across my lawn. I took it out on my quiet residential street and went from 0 to what felt like light speed in about no time flat. It has so much power the whole bike + my 240Lb body lifts off the ground noticeably when you gas it. No accidents, no spills of any kind. However I learned a valuable lesson today about these machines. These things went from simple toys to serious machines that demand respect and care when ridden. I also learned I am just not confident on two wheels. Im glad that I took this thing out for a quick ride and realized what exactly I built before I tried riding to work on it. I am going to be purchasing more riding gear in addition to lots of parking lot practice and probably a MSF safety course to boot. She does fuckin' rip though, and that is satisfying to say the least.

Nice Build . These Little 2 strokes really become angry with a good pipe and kit . I remember the first Time I jumped on one that was built up. I Cracked throttle wide open lifted the tire and decided I gotta get me one of these .
Enjoy it I am a firm believer in helmets gloves and armor on every ride.

Did a short start yesterday and the coolant temp was 160 or so with cylinder head temps around 200. I am not entirely sure whats normal for LC setups. Any ideas folks?

I am not sure what "normal" is but the aim is to stay below soft seize temp around 350 so you have got it nailed.
