I think that's what I'll do.... at least take a further look at it. It bakes and it comes off the brake just fine, so i'm not sure if anything is "sticking". So much on this bike has been swapped it only makes sense to swap or clean the caliper now. Sure sounds like a pad that has some sort of contamination or caliper that’s sticking - when it grabs it grabs hard. Good luck hope you get it worked out, nothing worse than having that front brake just grab and have no feel for it. Yep, that’s what it does. Thanks!

I’m wondering if I should look at stock Vespa parts or get a little more exotic with some aftermarket love from SIP. I’m not even sure what’s cool as far as aftermarket goes

Wondering if you've looked at this yet...

I’m gonna leave it for now. It’s just a really good break that has a different feel than my others. Dunno.

Any suggestions on a good aftermarket braking system (m/c, caliper, etc) for the PX? A caliper in a cool color would be better than a plain one.
I’m going to try to rebuild these m/c but part of me is I should just replace it with something cool. I’ve redone that front end with a bunch of new parts, the only old stuff is that caliper. It’d look cool with some more color down there

It’d look cool with some more color down there I don't know what's out there for these, but there are kits by RPM and Adelin for lots of smaller scoots with calipers in different colors. They are Taiwan made and I wasn't sure what I'd be getting when I swapped to a 220mm disc and 4 piston caliper on my Triton. It turned out to be a nice setup though. Looks good, not touchy (I am still using a stock master cylinder) and I got the rear wheel in the air a little when I panic stopped so it has sufficient power. I only paid $85 on AliExpress for the rotor, caliper and bracket so I was very impressed with it. Huge upgrade vs stock. You can find their stuff at US and CA sellers for significantly more too.

Scootlord is going in to check it out. I think it’s the piston in the m/c.
I am going to replace the caliper with a sip caliper. That’ll make it look all trick and stuff.
I gotta tell ya that this p200e engine is the best experience with a two stroke that I’ve ever had. This bike is my go to stick.

Has that solved your problem? Great looking. 👍 Still looking at that. If that piston can’t be cleaned or replaced, the m/c will have to be replaced.

A little bit looser, but still stiff.
After the 4th I’ll replace the m/c. That’s all one piece from Vespa, it includes the lever. I’m just going to pop it on.
