Hi and welcome, you will need to provide a bit more info on your scoot, the tech section of the forum has got most problems sorted, you just need to put the time in to help yourself, but most electrical probs are bad ground or broken wires.keep asking if you need to.

What make/model/year are you working on? You said you need help grounding everything to get spark. Not sure exactly what you need. You can ground to the engine/frame or battery negative. Hopefully all of those are tied together with good connections. If you mean how to ground for it to run, then it depends on the question posed above because some scooters will need a ground applied to the CDI in order to run and others use a ground to the CDI to kill the ignition.

Ive got a 2016 tao tao 49cc scoot that ive chopped down and put a 157qmi on. I originally started with a buggy harness with 11 pole stator. Now all i have left is a 6 pin ac cdi, the ignition coil, kill switch and the wires from stator. I just need help finding a way to run the circuit, and thank you for responding. Ive been thru the manuals and everything i could find on a 150cc but i cant find a diagram for the way im trying to run it

Ive got that schematic. Do the green ground triangles on the pucture ground to frame?

Are you planning on running no lighting system at all(lights, battery charging, autochoke)?
What cc's is a 157qmi?
And yes, on 90GTVert's diagram, the green triangles are chassis ground symbols. Connect to a confirmed good chassis ground.

And the chassis has to be grounded to the motor right?

I have a battery for my lights and trail tech that i will put on a charger every night or as needed. And im gonna try and power the cdi off the stator. Pin 6 in the diagram above is the AC power for the AC-CDI that comes from the stator.
The chassis and the engine are grounded to each other.
Note: DC-CDI modules are powered from the battery.

I have an ac cdi, is that possible to power from the stator?

If you have the right stator.

11 pole stators may or may not have a separate ac cdi power circuit, most probably don't.
You can confirm by 1. Look at the stator, are all of the posts similar or are one or two oddball? They would be the ac cdi power coils. 2. Check the stator output wires. Are there separate ac cdi power wires? commonly red/blk or blk/red.
If you don't have that then you need a stator that does that or you need to convert to a dc cdi. If that then you WILL need the lighting system.
