I recently installed a Malossi variator on my new Piaggio Liberty 50 (I-Get) 3V ELECTRONIC INJECTION. The 6.1 rollers included in the kit to improve acceleration and its top speed. Now, the top speed is 72km/h - 45MPH(gps), but on the Digital RPM I installed, its indicates 10070 rpm at wot! Is it normal??? If i check on the specs of the Liberty 50 3v, it wrote 4.4hp @ 9500 rpm and max torque @7250 rpm.
I was thinking to reduce the weight at 5.5g because in acceleration under 45 km/h-28Mph it is still slow! But I risk running the engine over 10070 rpm !? Is it ok or too much!?? by the way, I did not install the white spring of Malossi, I was losing in top speed ... Thank's for help!

10,000RPM is not unusual but should be avoided. Keep it down to about 9K max. Adjust your CVT accordingly.
