I have a 6 month old 150 gy6 Zenn scooter. It will not start. If I remove the electric choke and cover hole, it will start right up. I purchased a new automatic choke and it still will not start. If I again cover the choke hole with tape, it starts right up a runs fine.
What is the problem here? It is a Deni pd24j carb.
Again the scooter is only six months old.

(welcome2)It sounds like the idle is adjusted to lean and the small opening of the plunger isn't letting enough fuel in or you have 2 bad enrichers.

That's odd Bob. Have you checked the voltage to the enricher?
