On my Scooter one side of the paint is really nice looks like a proper job the other side and front is rattle can which when I filled up petrol went over it and came off a bit when I tried to wipe it. I can't afford a proper job and have not done proper spraying since the 70's when I did panel beating. I will only have one chance of doing this right so what sort of rattle can paint do I buy and clear coat for protection which I presume had not been applied before. I hear via youtube that K2 is the clear coat to use. Any help much appreciated thankyou

I was looking for a rattle can paint that could handle some exposure to gasoline recently as well. 2K Clear is the most highly recommended stuff that I've seen. It's a 2 part paint that's nasty and harmful for us humans like real spray gun stuff so it will require a respirator. I don't know much about these coatings, but I bought a respirator because everyone said DO NOT play with this stuff and think it'll be OK just this once. amzn.to/31EhLw6I haven't used it yet as it's for the tank for the SSR that's not ready for paint yet. I have used DupliColor performance wheel coating on some things. It seems to be a little more chemical resistant than your average spray can stuff, but it still doesn't deal with fuel and such all that well. The clear also yellows eventually.
