I'm just wondering if Chinese scooters, like Japanese products in general, use JIS screws. Or did the Chinese go cheap and use regular phillips screws?

Most of the ones I've worked on have been JIS.

Most carbs out there do use JIS screws. When in doubt start with the JIS.

I've found the JIS drivers work great on "regular" Phillips head screws...
