Looking at adding a CHT gauge to my scoot. I cannot find one that is less than 50.00. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have tried a cheaper chinese ones that use watch batteries that cost 20 bucks They were accurate just get the 14mm spark plug lead . I picked up one that was tach and temp on amazon Cost 10-20 bucks a year on batteries .
I switched after a year . The trail techs are nice that cost 50 bucks but the batteries last 5 years .

A drop in the bucket is only a drop until several people put a drop in the bucket then you have a full bucket

Nothing about CHT gauges nor a source? Do you have any info on one? I looked around a bit but could only find the Trailhead brand readily available, and I don't need to know $THAT$ much. tom

Thanks for the link. Wish they gave a bit of technical information. Their description leaves a bit to be desired. I think it puts a probe under the spark plug, but from the listing, that is unsure. "interdigitate" is a new one to me. tom
