What sort of suface do you ride? Flat top, smooth, rough, gravel, rain, all types of surfaces and max speed rating you need lot of factors come into play. Our country roads in Wales has all sorts of roads/weather and I find Michelin winter city grips are a good compromise between grip and cost plus good on cow poop and slippery stuff not so brill on white lines. Schwalbe paceman damn good on dry roads don't shift off white lines either. Lots of people on various scooter forums say Pirelli angel's are good in all size's but everyone has different opinions on tyres I am sure you will get a lot of answers to this often asked question 😊

Michelin Power Pure SC are a good sporty tyre. And the Michelin City Grip are a good all round tyre. As long As you get something from a supplier like Michelin, Bridgestone, Pirelli you won't go far wrong.

There's stuff like Kenda and Vee Rubber that are a little less money, but still usually decent tires. I've got Michelin's on about every scoot of mine. A little more $, but they've been good tires for me.

I prefer Shinko which usually run around around $40 each, but if you can afford Michelin go for those.

Can only find two brand rears. Those which are on it. Horrible tyres. And What I have on my slider. But I have had serious slides on these as not enough tread on the side wall. Pirelli SL 60 Scooter Tyre

They look almost like off road tyres would'nt like to hurl round roundabouts on them in the wet to fast!

Try finding a 130/80/12 I need for the typhoon. 😞 It would be an inch less diameter, so sort of like down-gearing for acceleration vs speed... but maybe you could try a 130/70-12 and see how that goes if the tire choices are really bad. Perhaps 120/80-12 also (a little closer to stock diameter), though there isn't a huge selection there either. Technically you should always use what the manufacturer recommends. Just saying, if I had slides that I believed to be from poor tires... I'd put a Michelin 130/70-12 on the back and see how that worked for me.

That's what I have been thinking about doing. The 70 section would be about 3 MPH slower for the same revolutions at 30.

Pirelli SL 60 Scooter Tyre They look almost like off road tyres would'nt like to hurl round roundabouts on them in the wet to fast! They are surprising grippy, and heat up fast even in cold weather. Good in the wet too. Just the lack of side grip let's them down.
