Give them a nice aroma to sniff as you overtake them.

Must have been made on Friday after a Italian Holiday. They should swap you out for a different cylinder or they could clean this one up for you with there porting service.

I have a Roughhouse im building out not a Ruckus. I do like the stretched ruckus though, especially the 2 stroke swaps. I saw your post about the mared cylinder. I garuntee Polini will take care of that for you. Don't install anything though! Wait for an exchange.

Kinda expect them to pull off like a bat outta hell. Sent SSS a photo still waiting to see what they say about it. Been lazy, so haven't even started disassembly. Just been checking parts as they come in.

So much better in the Yamaha engines where the use bolts. I have used a big flat screwdriver to get springs off before. Or even a couple of zip ties. Hate removing centre stand springs though.

Oh yeah the Philips will be replaced w/ Allens like w/ the CVT cover. Glad they decided to use hex heads for the transmission. I cheated and just removed the pin first made getting the spring off real easy. Wonder if I can cheat and use the same method putting it back together.

Using my impact philips set the rest of the case screws came out w/o issue. Had to take a drill to the one that cammed out, the head on it was fubared. Split the case. Stator side gave some resistance, but CVT side bearing came out easy... a little too easy. Think the bearing might've spun in the case. It slid half way out just by the weight of the crank then w/ just a smack of my hand came all the way out. CVT Side Stator Side Think i'll pick up a sacrificial crank bearing and see how much force it takes to press in.
