Go back a few of months and I bought a Vespa ET4 125 and done a build thread on it and had to do an exquisite piece of welding to the rot. I then picked another up for a spares kit with no V5 (Title) or reg number and no keys so will have to be moted with vin number and engine and then inspected by DVLA who will issue a V5 and reg number. It came with a good frame with no rust for a 130$Â in funny money.
Fast forward and the spares kit has sat in the way at times, it has a cut about loom but is all there and not doing anything . So after doing up the spare engine I bought 3 yrs ago with wiring loom and other spares just recently with a new 150cc top end to fit to the other Vespa for 180$ I cannot be arsed to put it in a perfectly running bike.
I did up a chinese rat scoot a while ago and I had only just discovered the Vespa LXV naked handlebar model which got me thinking of another rat scooter.
I then saw some of those naked handlebars for sale on fleabay and it was when the thought process kicked from from all my formenting thoughts over the past weeks, so I got them for 30$ then I saw a brand new speedo and most appear to go for about 350$ this was 80$ which took a bit of thinking about but I justified it in the end I also have some old british bike chrome type switch gear from the 60's on order as well. I then got for 25$ on facebook a ignition lock set with imobiliser unit, antenna and both the blue ignition key and the brown master key a good result all round!
Tonight got home started sorting through bits and checked the loom fitted the engine over the garage as no good getting excited if does not fit!
So tomorrow I shall wash the bike down I will change the engine if time. Prep the inside of the frame with ACF50 and clearcoat the body at some point down the line but it is staying ruff and ready as it is with only clearcoat to stop the rust spreading anymore but might well end up in future years sprayed up properly who knows. Plus I still have a spares kit with all the left over bits for mechanical issues if every need and body stuff.

Engine in bit of a faff but off axle stands now. Put the new loom in but different connectors in places, so put the old loom in and tank back and will tidy up the bodged bit at front wheel get to it. Now to cook dinner.

Yesterday was WTF am I doing this for when a short while ago I had 2 sound scooters with no work needed then I start on another bugger. Must have thought Oh well everything going good now maybe time to bring chaos back in my life and waste money. Maybe time to poke it away in a dark corner and do something more pleasurable. Mutter mumble fuggin mutter.

You love the aggravation Milly. And this is coming from someone who has a Vespa engine sitting in the front room at the moment.
