[ My scooter project ]

wassup, This will be a thread for my scoot project  ill be posting pictures of how its going and troubleshooting

Back story

I bought the scooter last year for only 140$ with only some minor problems and got it in running condition within 2 days, the scooter had some great 2 stroke power and was very fun to drive around, after a year of owning the scooter i had broken almost all of my plastics after getting hit by a car and going a little too harsh on it so i decided to completely change the look of it and here starts the project. My plan is to go with a clean and naked look

I am currently going to the frame with a angle grinder and removing unnecessary brackets and fixing up the bad welds from the Chinese factory







New parts

Ebay: Front blinkers (mount to handlebars)
Ebay: Rear light led strip
Str8: Handlebar stem
Ebay: start switch
Ebay: Throttle tube
Koso: fuel gauge
Suzuki: left break lever (stock one had a giant plastic stuck to it)
Ebay: Enduro type handlebar controls (turnsignals,horn,kill switch, front light controls)
My dad built: Enduro type front light 
Local store: cheap exhaust (until i can afford a better one. can see in pictures before)

Will be buying performance engine parts later on im just broke right now




Things i am left to do

Make a seat bracket, will be ditching the seat storage thing

Make a bracket for my front light and my rear light

Make some customization to my frame (will be posting more pictures of that)

Paint the frame,engine cover,wheels,front forks,rear shock and some more little things

Me and my dad are gonna make a floorboard out of carbon fiber

Buy some performance parts (would be nice if some of yall could tell me what parts to get first)


This is all i can remember but there is prob some things that i am missing


Will be getting some better pictures for yall in the next days and keeping yall updated

Some tips and ideas would be really appreciated and let me know if i missed something

this is how the frame is looking so far tomorrow i am gonna buy some metal tubes and metal sheet




I am gonna add to the frame at the back where the cardboard is (see in pictures) make some foot pegs and i have to make a seat bracket.

And with the metal sheet i need to make a bracket for my head light

I have not done much since the last post but i got some metal tubes and some metal sheets and i also have a malossi 70cc sport kit and some carb jets on the way www.pedparts.co.uk/product/1404/malossi-70cc-sport-kit-10mm-minarelli-ac

I kinda mocked up what the rear would look like after welding it (see in pictures and sorry for the bad photoshop

i also took the cylinder apart to find out what size wrist pin i have, here are some pictures dont mind how dirty this is will be giving it a good clean

just got the rear light strip in and let me tell you seeing this project coming together is making me hyped, im calling it this will be the best looking naked build :-)

today i begun prepping some parts for paint and i also took a restriction out of the exhaust

still waiting on my bbk should be here in the next 2 days

wow... i totally forgot about this thread sorry

i have not gotten as much as i had wanted to be done but here are the things that i have gotten done

I got my 70cc malossi sport kit in and put it on and she fires right up in first kick

i got my handlebar stem in and bought a renthal handlebar and fitted that on and i also made a little place for my fuel dial in the foam protector (see in picture)

i am still waiting on my jets,left brake assembly,front turn lights, throttle assembly and my start switch thing.

i went ahead and bought some spray paint but i have not painted the parts yet because i wanna put everything together first and get everything running before i start making her beautiful.

next thing i have to do is welding and redoing my electrical harness.

i was also looking into buying some cvt upgrade (rollers,springs and such)

sooo yeah thats pretty much it ill try and remember to update yall more frequently

hey guys im hoping someone can help me. im looking into buying ncy needle bearing throttle but i cant find the right cable for my carb in stock.

this is the throttle

and my the most important question, i messure my cable at around 165cm but most of the cables im finding are 195 ?? will that work on my scooter

Will this work? You may have to take the long way when routing the cable to deal with the extra length

ok so i was able to test the scooter today and i noticed that the takeoff was pretty slow and i would like to have a little more takeoff power. i am looking into buying a variator kit but i just dont know wich kit would work with my setup

-malossi 70cc sport
-main jet :75
-snorkle delete
-chinese expansion chamber exhaust

im hoping someone here knows which one to get and if you have a link to one please have it in eu/uk im sick of waiting for parts D:
