Hey Mob,
I've got an 2002 aerox with a trashed motor and I'm wanting to put together a prebug with aerox forks, wheels and another LC horizontal motor. Still need to find a nice prebug. Seems the french are all over it but post forum walk throughs.
My Aerox Forks Legs are 30mm.
What parts are required to do the fork swap?
Can I use the Aerox yoke and stem?
Do people just swap the fork legs?
Cheers, Harry

Anyone? pretty please?
It seems my aerox forks have a stepped shaft which is the more recent design. The base of both types of forks is the major difference. New - Stem Base OD 30mm Old - Stem Base OD 27mm
The other difference is the thickness below the threads but this shouldnt effect the fitment. New - ~29 then 25mm Old - 25.5mm
The zuma/booster/prebug forks have a 27mm OD stem base.
Ive seen two different sets of zuma inner races (for the neck of the frame) a) 32.5mm top and bottom ID of neck, OD of race b) 43mm top and bottom ID of neck, OD of race

I did a fork swap on my Prebug. The pre 2002 Aerox triple tree with the straight stem shaft is a perfect fit. No modification necessary and even the steering lock works too. As far I can recall there are straight shaft triple trees with 27mm or 30mm fork tubes. So be careful you get the right one to match your fork tubes. The other, newer triple tree after 2002 with the stepped shaft won't fit a Prebug. You obviously will need an Aerox front wheel aswell. I also did a fork swap on my Jog and there too I had 30mm fork holes on a straight shaft stem. So not all straight shafts take 27mm fork tubes. You can read about it in my 2 threads just search for word fork in my threads. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/18658/tsimis-prebug49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/17045/liquid-conversion-jog-cv50
