So i am having a bit of electrical trouble with my aerox, it all started when about a month ago i think the ignition lock started to break and lost spark sometimes when turning the handlebars, i got new ignition lock system and it worked fine for a while, except the lights dont work at idle and when giving throttle they go too bright + it keeps blowing light bulbs after 2 minutes of riding. Then i was riding it and stopped to change the main jet, when i tried to turn it on again, no spark. After that it hasnt gotten a spark. No power to the ignition coil and ignition lock works fine. I have tried different cdis, voltage regulators and a wire harness but no spark.

It sounds like the regulator/rectifier might of gone and taken something out with it. When the lights go bright like that. It's seriously overcharging. I would check your battery too. That's normally one of the first things to go.

That's normally one of the first things to go. I have tried 3 different (Same) regulators, it only gets 5 volts when it gets very bright. It shouldnt affect the spark because it worked fine before without the regulator?

The "turning handle bars" has me puzzled could there be a broken wire in the loom?

The "turning handle bars" has me puzzled could there be a broken wire in the loom? Geoff it was caused by the broken ignition lock. i got a new one and it worked fine until it just lost spark. i ordered mvt millenium ignition and i will make my own wire harness
