Just want to let you know how well the 2008 LX 50 I bought from pinkscoot is doing. I haven't been posting on it, because of how well things were going. Shortly after the getting it just over 2 years ago it had a problem with shutting down after it warmed up. The fix was just "plug and play," a repair that was simple enough for my mechanical skill. New CDI came in the mail from scooterpartsco, while pinkscoot was out of town. NOTE: This is a common problem with The early LX that shipped to the US. They were a restricted CDI meant fot the US market. The rplacemnt was high performance, OEM for other coutries. Later on we found out the clip was missing from the key cylider. I got help, because I was completely stumpted. An easy fix none-the-less. Robot did a great vid on replacing the key cylinder. Secret of the clip was revieled. The front worn Pirelli tire was replaced since the video. Now it has a matching set of Michelin City Grip tires. Glad to see cool weather. Rode a few miles from Downtown to Arbor Achres retirment community as scenic few miles away the other night. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7W_OX8RAa68Have a great Fall.

David, the scooters looking good. I know that it's a big improvement over the Lance PCH. I like the yellow patch of paint covering former sins.

Nice to see it going so well. And you are learning along The way too.👍 The Michelin City Grip tires are a good upgrade. I wish they did sizes for my bike.

I I like the yellow patch of paint covering former sins. Looking at bullseye stickers at Scooter West. Think the yellow ones are better?

I did a search here and found Heidenau K61 and K63. Not the same tread as the City Grip but a quality tire. I have the Michelin Power Pure on my SR50 and they rock. They rock but just come in the 130/70b-12.

Got the front later. It was out of stock. They had the back one. Replaced immediately, bald.
