What's shakin', Y'all?
I have a completely stock 2017 Adly RT-50 that I'm working on. I love this bike. It's zippy and a ton of fun. Completely surprised that it hits 40 with me on it (218lbs, slightly tucked, flat, no wind).
Because I can't leave well enough alone, I'm adding a Yasuni Z and adjusting the rollers(stock are really heavy at 6.5, playing with the contra a little (white and/or yellow Malossi), and I've gotten a set of light - med springs for clutch, and of course I'll be upjetting a bit.
Anyway my initial thought is to go slow with the upgrade and see what I can get out of the Z with the CVT adjustments and stock cylinder.
The thought crossed my mind to consider a bbk for some point in the future, however it seems that the Yasuni R is the go to for most folks. Does anyone here have any experience or thoughts on the Z pairing with a bore kit?

I have used the Z with a big bore works great, if your looking at sports cylinders. I have a typhoon that's pretty stock fitted with the Z now. And also a Minarelli vertical fitted with a Polini BBK and a Yasuni R. The two pipes make a similar amount of power, just at different points in the rev range.

They are both Loud as all expansion pipes are compared to stock pipes . You cant go wrong with either pipe . Both would grow with your bbk choice Both have wide powerbands so you can use a larger range of weights to be in the middle of the powerband . Both give awesome takeoff when set up right The Z powerband starts earlier and doesnt rev quite as high so you wont get as high as top end . Medium clutch springs work well . The R powerband starts just a notch later and ends a little later so you end up a few more mph up top. Medium or Hard Clutch springs work best to give good take off .

Awesome! Thank you both for the info. Noise isn't a problem here. The city has "noise ordinance" but it's a resort/tourism area with several bike rallys per year so it isn't enforced. Plus I spend most of my time on the slow county roads, so no biggie.

Z and DR Evolution 70 here. Excellent combo. re-jet, lighter rollers, heavier clutch springs and let it rip. Excellent accleration, and 8000-10000 is it's happy zone. 55mph here.

I am eyeballing the DR and the Malossi. Heard fantastic things about both of them. Gonna see what else I can get out of the stock motor, but I do see a BBK in my future.
