Hi, I purchased a 125CC gy6 scooter. It's a Venturi model. It was known to have a no spark issue. I've have replaced the stator, starter solenoid, CDI box, and spark plug coil. Whether the battery is connected or not, there's no spark if I kick start it.
With the battery connected, and the key on, I have seen the dash light up a few times. But I currently cannot get it to come on. I've used a multi meter and tested the key switch and the on-off switch. They are good. I also tested the brake switch and it's good. Any other ideas what's keeping power from reaching the dash? I've checked the main fuse, and other fuses I've come across. They're good. I would think the no power to the dash and no spark issue are related.
It looks like it has a wireless key start built it. I have not tested anything on that. I would remove it if that's possible as it won't be used. Just adding that incase it's relevant.

Check the battery ground and system ground point.
Go through the troubleshooting chart in a scooter manual, many can be found on the forum. Just replacing parts is NOT a good troubleshooting process. You will introduce more problems rather than finding the original problem.

Thanks for the ideas and links to information. I'm going to go thru it and troubleshoot things. I'll report back what I find.

Thanks for all the links guys. I switched to the test light. I followed the links and tutorials on sectioning off wires and switches and testing them one at a time. The battery was good. I swapped back to the old starter solenoid which seemed to help. And I begun checking the starter solenoid wires, tested the on/off switch, the starter button, and the brake switch. They were all were good with a multi-meter originally, but had no power to them. I went back and checked the main fuse on the hot wire from the battery and it was blown. It was one of the first things I checked and it was good. I think somewhere with installing a new stator, starter solenoid, etc., it blew and was causing the issue. I put a new fuse in and the lights came on. I even got it to start up for a short time. So it's working now. I have some other work with the carb b/c it sat a long time, but that's the easy part for me. Thanks a lot guys!
