Hello all, i have a tgb 202 classic 2 stroke, i have removed the variator restrictor and fitted a naraku derestricted cdi. the acceleration is perfect very nice and fast but top end speed is where it lacks i can only get 45mph at a push is there anything i can do to increase the top speed as im sure a 2 stroke is capable of more. thanks

45 is about right. To go faster, you need to rev higher. The standard pipe will not do that. If you go for an expansion pipe exhaust. It will give you the top end.

Your problem is probably in the gearing. The gear ratio on TGB's tend to make for great takeoff but limit the high end. Pull the CVT cover and make a mark on the wheel and clutch. Count the number of times the clutch turns to get 1 full rotation on the wheel. Thats your gear ratio. If you up gear it and get into the 10-11 to 1 ratio you'll see more speed.
