Been rethinking the designs, im gravitating towards a smog pump from a mustang i found near me. The orifices are small, but they should be good enough i think. Ive seen smogs make easily 5 pounds on a predator 212 motor. Its also a fair bit smaller than the AMR, and already has a bigger pulley on it, so its easier work. Making manifolds will be tough, but just a metal one that a rubber intake can go onto. Rubber intake probably isnt great, but it should work i think. Im slightly worried about overboosting since i didnt gap my rings, but we'll see. Im liking the smog more and more. The main game plan is still the same though. Will a foot plus long rubber intake completely kill fuel flow?? Find out on the next episode of "Connors Mental Breakdown (featuring POS Scooter)" 😂

Nothing wrong with rubber intake hose. Used them on a 750 twin no problem. they did have a wire wrap inside the rubber to prevent collapse under vacuum. Stainless hose clamps held the carbs on just fine. Your pics show dedication and skill. 5 PSI is a good start. Heck, that's a 33% increase if it works right.

Okay, so this whole thing just flipped onto its head. Literally. On November 6, a college kid ran a stop sign, hit the scooter pretty bad and.....its toast. Im gonna try to use the engine so i can at least call it the same scooter, but she needs a new frame. I dont think this is saveable. And as for the supercharger, i worked out a way to run a non electric oil pump. So while the supercharger plans in this thread may be used later on, shes getting turboed next spring when I finish the rebuild. Im crushed, but at least its gonna be better when its done. Ill post updates as they happen

Bummer. Hope you’re ok. Bikes can be replaced, people are unique.

Sorry to hear about your crash, it sucks but I'm glad you weren't hurt too badly! It's a moot point now, as you probably aren't going to do the supercharger thing, but you said about just bolting the charger pulley to the end of the crank. I don't think that would work as the pulley would need a key in it to stop it spinning, I think it would just have too much torque to reliably run without a key. I'd love to see how you get on with turbo charging it!

That is a good point, but Brent just ran his water pump pulley by screwing it onto the crank if i remember correctly and he hasnt said anything about it coming off. I think im gonna transplant the supercharger idea onto a 50cc bike later on in the future when im better at fabrication. The plan will not die! Just wanted to try a turbo on the 150 to start off
