Cods4,CV50? Is that a European model,I would be wary of ordering anything that is not listed for your scoot, your links just come back to here? the exhaust you choose depends on what you use the scoot for.some pictures of the scoot and engine will help us to help you. Geoff Just realised your in Australia so that's a whole different market from USA or Europe the Yamaha brand varies across the world so check and check again before you part with any £££ (no dollar sign) Geoff

Just doing some reading, and it sounds like it is just a facelift of the CY50 which was the last jog sold in america.
I havent been able able to find much information on fitment of these, other than forum posts where people say they have used one of these exhausts on their jog. Hence why I'm asking here.
Has anyone used one of these on a Jog?

Cods4,there are 2 engine types used on the "jog" range the vertical and the horizontal they use completely different exhausts.I have a 80,s jog vertical, and a 04 jog horizontal they are very different systems.

Like Geoff said, check which engine you have. But I'm thinking a 2010 will most likely be horizontal if you are like Europe. There probably is not a lot of difference in performance between those pipes. You might not even need to change the jetting.

Mine is definitely horizontal. They changed from the vertical to horizonbtal in the early 90s.
By the look of all these pipes they are all for a horizontal engine.
Is there anyone out there who has used one of these exhausts?

My Yamaha vertical Minarelli engine bike was 2002! 🙊 😉 Zino has quite a bit of knowledge on these sort of pipes. He will be able to help with set-up.

The leo vince Sp3 was very popular on Yamaha Zuma builds in the states that have a horizontal motor and was highly sought after . The other 2 Leo Vince pipes were not used as much .
Like all street half wave pipes They are stealthy look like a stock pipe with a wider more powerful power band , They give better take off a few miles per hour up top Work well with stock carb with a small 3-10% up jet . The stock trans needs very minor change in variator weights and possibly stiffer clutch springs
We just have a hard getting ahold of them now over here so , The new go to street pipes are the Malossi Wild lion/ Polini Speed or Tecnigas Silent Pro . The polini speed and malossi wild lion are copies of each other actually made by Gianelli and rebadged.
I have run both of those street pipes and find them comparable in performance to the Lower end Expansion pipes just easier to set up. They work well with a stock engine or a sport 70 cc kit .

Thanks for your help Zino I think I will go with a Tecnigas Silent Pro as it is about NZD$100 cheaper than the leovince SP3 and available here in NZ at a decent price. Unless someone can convince me to get a more high performance exhaust like a Stage 6 Sport Pro, or Tecnigas Next R. I've also ordered an unrestricted CDI, jetting kit, and a trailtech temperature guage.

If you are happy with the performance of your stock engine. But want a slight improvement of top speed. And a bit more acceleration. Just stick with the standard look pipe. If top speed is a priority, get a sports pipe.

tecnigas silent pro I liked better than the next r the overall performance was similar
silent pro looks like stock and easeier to set the trans mission up for

I am using the silent pro on my commute scoot, slight upjet, larger snorkel, and polini blue clutch springs ,nippy enough to leave the cagers at a traffic light and my neighbours like the sound level.
