Hi Guys
Question about copper spray gasket. Can i use this alone on a cylinder head with out any actual gasket? My issue is my squish is quite high even with the thinnest gasket I have. The only way for me to achieve the squish i want (between 0.9mm to 1.1mm) is to get rid of the head gasket. I wonder if any of you have tried it on your build with out any leaking issues.
I have the athena 70 sport basic.
Thanks

If you have the AC version then the squish should be 0,9mm. That is what is written in the user manual for the Athena 70cc AC sport kit.

.9 is in the instructions for the athena kit I got to .92 mm with transfers lining with piston at bdc with paper gasket This way you max out potential of filling up and clearing out the cylinder i

I just end up going to the machine shop at ask them to remove .4mm off the top of the cylinder and now i am at .85mm squish. Jut felt slight increase on acceleration. My top speed still seats at 111kph(69.3mph) just 1mph shy of my target top speed. I also adjusted my timing around 10* more advance which help a bit. I was at 107kph before all the mods.
