Yes I did ( or tried ) for 3 hours . Over 30 times maybe 50.
What I did think I noticed the fluid was below that window and bike was crooked because no center stand. So finally ( dont know for sure if this what changed it ) but I kept replenishing the fluid to the very top ( I wouldn't be able to close it up like that because it would go all over) but possibly if it was below that window hole it was also pulling air in , IDK. I also put somethings under the kick stand to straighten up bike so it was not leaning . Strangely it I started hearing the pads or piston closing . I purged it 2 or 3 more times and thought it would be good but not really. Ill try some more tomorrow.

A good way to do it too is:
Step-1 - Fill the master cylinder up all the way. put lid, seal and screws on.
Step-2 - Squeeze and HOLD front brake lever "may not go all the way back to handle grip yet".
Step-3 - While fully squeezing and holding the front brake lever closed, open bleeder screw until brake lever goes all the way to handle grip
Step-4 - While still holding the brake lever all the squeezed, tighten the bleeder screw after the bleeder screw is tightened let go of front brake lever.
Step-5 - Check brake fluid level and fill if needed. Repeat steps 1 thru 5 until the lever has desired pressure.

Aeroxbud also posted a great way for reverse pressure bleeding in this thread (think its the 5th post) 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/27807/bleedimg-brake Using a syringe and hose. You may wanna try it if the method Steve B suggested still doesn't get all the air out. You can also go through and tap the caliper, hose, and master cylinder w/ a screwdriver handle to try and dislodge any air bubbles sticking to the walls of the components.

I would still try and find out what happened. Brakes are important.
