I have a Yasuni exhaust on an 02 Vino 2T. Love the exhaust, but now if I take right turns too sharp the exhaust will scrape the ground. Figure there's a few options:
1st option: My stock tires are 80/90-10. Due to other upgrades I think I can comfortably upsize to 90/90-10 thus giving a little more clearance. Idk if that'll be enough to fix the problem though.
2nd option: The stock suspension (rear) is 166.5 mm (6.56 in) out of the service manual. I've found a ton of aftermarket suspensions online, but they are in the 280-310mm (~12 in) range. I suspect that will fix the issue, but I think I'll definitely have to weld on a side stand. (are there bolt on non weld options?). Besides that I'm not really sure what you get out of an aftermarket suspension in the first place? just smoother ride or am I missing something? and why are they so much longer??
3rd option: I found essentially a spacer that's bolted between the engine block mount and the shock absorber. They come in 40 or 60mm (2 in). I think that should be enough to fix the problem? and maybe I can keep the stock stand as well? This seems like the best/easiest option, but I don't know if it's a bad idea due to something I'm not considering.
Looking for advice or direction from anyone that's dealt with this and had success one way or another.

The tire you have now gives you a side wall height of 72mm. The larger tire will give you an increase to 81mm. Not that much of an increase. These dimensions are approximate, as tyres can be plus or minus 10 percent in size allowed by law. I would try the jack up kit. These are cheap, and easy to fit.

A crowbar may be helpful.

Hard muffler/pavement contact Will lever the rear wheel off the ground and byebye. Consider ways to raise the muffler by tubing bender on header pipe or an angle pipe between header and muffler. Raise the rear end too much could make the front end unstable.

Replace the rear shock with a slightly longer one. Worked for my wife and I with our Vinos when I installed Stage6 ProReplica exhausts. Bonus it improved the ride too. Try scootertuning.ca for a shock
