Im kinda stumped here, figured id see what you all have to say. I got a 2005 Zuma with a polini cast 70cc kit (im guessing a contessa), a yasuni r pipe (i doubt its a c16), stage 6 intake, and a polini cp21 carb. Right now, i have 7g rollers. It still powers the front wheel up on takeoff, cruises close to 40 at 8000 to 8500 rpms. The pipe hits good at 9k, and right now it seems to be maxing out at 9500 to 10000. Anything over, it sounded like it was hitting some sort of limiter and breaking up a tad. It mostly maxes and pulls hard around that 9000 to 9500 area. Am i correct here in not letting it get over 10k? Its doing close to, or basically 50mph with my 190 pound ass on it. I assumed that bore and pipe just really dont make meaningful speed power after high 9000's.
Basically, where would this setup make the best power?

I had similar results My Yasuni r with the malossi sport maxed out just below 10 k rpms It makes best power for setting the roller weights at 9 k rpms just like yours.
If you want more top speed swap in gears you will add about 5-7 mph .
Keeping under 10 k rpms is the considered best for long term reliability .

Sounds about right, yes.

If you retune the transmission takeoff is basically the same . You set the trans where it makes the most power .
I suppose if you went past a 11 to 1 final ratio you might have a hard time matching takeoff.
You are at 14.6 stock you can go all to either 12 to 1 or 11 to 1 ratio with gears .

I might do em honestly. I think the triple or something on this bike is bent though. When i get on the front brakes, the bars cock to the right. As well as it naturally wanting to lean right. So i might not wanna push the top speed, idk. Today it was acting weird though, screaming over 10k when it usually doesnt. I dunno, still might make it a stroker drag bike

This being said, a Zuma is usually worth repairing to be a good street bike again. While there are still quite a few of them out there, they are becoming fewer with every passing year, and that's a shame. Matt
