I would think the tool would be built to withstand lube but one never knows. The instructions may give a clue, not that we ever read them... LOL

I finally bought a big sheet of aluminum and made a table to mount in the vise. It could use a brace at the back of the cut for the blade, because it sags a little. Otherwise, it seems alright. I've gotta look over the saw sometime. It had a clunk every time the blade would go around. I changed the original blade to a DeWalt and it cuts better now, but still clunks so I guess it wasn't the blade. I noticed this before mounting it to the table so it's not from that.

Usually 'clunks' are from missing teeth or the welded spot on the blade. Check the wheels for any buildup too.
