Okay so the battery that came with the Zuma has somewhat mangled battery terminals and has caused me quite a bit of grief trying to find ways to secure the leads to them. The negative terminal was stripped out and a larger screw forced in, that works okay, but the positive terminal is like caved in and chewed up causing anything from lights dimming to tonight almost refusal to accelerate. I got off the road, twisted the wire tighter onto the terminal and off it went. Are the terminals replaceable? What have you done when faced with kinda mangled terminals?

Replaced the stock battery with nasty bolt on terminals with a Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) battery like the ones used in computer UPS units and emergency lights. Then used crimped on F2 (0.250") terminals to connect them. No more corrosion and nasty batter terminal connections. The batteries are cheap and available. 12V 7 to 8 Ampere hour SLA batteries usually work well.

I have just replaced the terminals with new motorcycle crimp on ones.

I would just replace it then. A battery is cheap to replace.
