That is a serious bargain. Which engine does it have in it?

That is a serious bargain. Which engine does it have in it? Isn't it! It has the Morini engine.. I was hoping for the air cooled minarreli but you can still get some parts for the Morini

We want to refresh the top end (mild 70) do you guys agree, you can’t disconnect the oil pump on these ? I think I read somewhere it feeds the crank bearings directly ? I guess it pumps 50:1.. do we think that’s Enough oil for a sport 70cc Or need a little added to the tank also
Thanks

Those Morini Ditechs do rock and that's a great price. The injectors only like to inject gas premixing chokes it up. Unfortunately with the electric fuel pump on the Morini there is no adjustment.

Polini recommend 50:1 on all their sports kits. I have only gone above that on the racing kit. Never had a problem.

I think your thinking of the newer style morini this is the first generation late 90s early 2000 model has the standard vacuum/gravity fuel tap ect with carb

Loads of people run stock pumps with big bores. I just like to premix, when I increase the bore size. Each to their own.

Doesn't it split into two pipes that enter above the crank bearings?

Work on this SR has started at his lock up, engine has been reduced to a pile of parts he’s gone with a sport cast iron Malossi kit. He managed to find a new old stock set of fairings In red with all its oem decals. I would of thought he’d had more chance of finding hens teeth!
