That's a great find. A new set of panels for an 18 year old bike. Better be careful with them.

Surprisingly OEM parts for aprilia's are excellent. must be because they produced that trim of scooter for so long

I think my mate must be having a spell of good luck atm, he’s gone and picked up this low mileage 125SR air cooled version, very rare here specially for £1000

The Minarelli SR versions must be very rare now. The youngest models are 20 years old. If you come across an SR from 2003 onwards, these use the Piaggio engine. Very good to tune.

Parts are arriving for the old SR, he went for a Malossi sport 70cc Kit in the end as unfortunately we couldn’t find anything but a stock style crank for it he did want to get a full circle as I did with the view of mid race kit in the future. parts for these old Franco morini engines are bit thin on the ground

Yes unfortunately not a lot available for them. Even when they were new. The Malossi sport is still a nice upgrade.

I wonder why? Over shadowed by the minarreli and piaggio engines of the time maybe?
Any way we have everything we need now I think. Except the crank, they sent the wrong one so waiting to hear back from them

I think it's just never been as popular as the competition. I know someone who had quite a new Suzuki katana. He sold it just because of the lack of tuning options. Must be even less now.

Crank has arrived and its the correct one, a lot of confusion on parts on the sellers behalf with the ditech and Injection model any way I got him to drop it and the cases at my garage to get it installed then back to his lockup to start with installing the piston/barrel and those new old stock panels
